Let Claude Draft a Complaint That Gets Answered

Let Claude Draft a Complaint That Gets Answered

The refund was promised three weeks ago.

You have called twice, and nobody has done anything.

You want to write a strong complaint, but every draft comes out either angry or vague.

This is a job Claude does well.

Why does a clear complaint work better?

The person reading it handles dozens a day.

A letter with dates, order numbers and one clear request is easy to act on.

An angry paragraph with no details gets a standard reply.

What do I give Claude?

Facts, in any order.

What you bought or booked, and when.

The order, booking or complaint numbers.

What went wrong, and what they already promised.

Who you spoke to, and on which dates.

What you want now: a refund, a replacement, or a repair.

What do I ask for?

Be direct.

"Write a polite but firm complaint email to this company using these facts. Ask for a full refund within seven days."

You can ask for it shorter, more formal, or in Hindi.

You can ask for a subject line too.

How do I make it sound like me?

Ask for changes, just as you would with a person.

"Make it less formal."

"Remove the second paragraph."

"Mention that I have been a customer for five years."

Read the final version once, out loud, before sending.

What should I leave out?

Claude does not need your card number, account password or full address to write the letter.

Leave those out, and add anything genuinely required yourself before you send it.

Can Claude tell me my rights?

It can explain general consumer rights in India and point you to the right place to escalate.

Treat that as a starting point.

For anything serious, check the company's official policy and the government's consumer helpline or portal before relying on it.
