Everyone has heard of Google. It’s become synonymous with searching for anything on the internet. People use the phrase “Google it” when they want to search for something. Google’s primary purpose is to guide you to the relevant site based on your search.
However, Google has several “built-in” functions which can be used. These provide the desired results in the google search itself without visiting any website. This can be really handy.
Let’s check out a few of these.
Currency Calculations
Let say you have some US dollars and you would like to know the current exchange rate or you would like to know how much they are worth in Indian Rupees. All you need to do is type it into google.
Unit Conversion
This is an extremely quick and useful method to convert units of measure. Let’s say you have a baby and want to know how many ounces are in a kilogram or lets say an architect has sent you a drawing in millimeters and you would like to see the same in feet and inches. It’s as simple as typing it out in the google search.
Flight Details
This is by far my favourite. It’s just so simple to track flights. All you need to do is type the flight number in google search and that’s it! The details are shown below.
Calculator
Google search also works as a calculator. You can perform simple math directly in the search!
What should I do now?
